Well done, Nathan. Not only showing me who was the better 83rd man, but also seeing the championship through. I didn’t quite have the legs to put up a fight yesterday. They were cooked early on, and the fight was pretty much over when I almost reeled you in after 20k, only to see you dissapear in the horizon with two breakaway riders from my group. Then I got cooked mentally too, and just had to focus on spinning the pedals to get me to the finish line.
I must say I have enjoyed racing against you. Helping eachother out when the struggle was at it’s worst, fighting for positions on other days. It’s been good, fair and fun.
Looking forward following you on social media too.
Keep up the good work, both on and off the bike. Something tells me our paths, or wheels if you will, will cross again.
Hey Bjorn, 83rd best/84th best; it's so fractional at that point, isn't it? Congrats on finishing, and I'm grateful for the friendship and sportsmanship during the series. Yes, if it hadn't been for Steve and Sacha coming through, I would definitely have fallen back to your group, but it hurt staying with the two of them. I sat in way more than taking turns on the front.
I'm leaving MyWhoosh anytime soon, so we'll definitely ride together again and keep up the good work.

Ride on, and write on
